DISASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> CLUTCH ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

Use the bearing remover (MD998917) to counterhold the armature. Then remove the clutch assembly.

<<B>> SNAP RING DISASSEMBLY

Use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring.

REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

Use snap ring pliers to install the snap ring.

>>B<< CLUTCH ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

Use the bearing remover (MD998917) to counterhold the armature. Then install the clutch assembly.

>>C<< AIR GAP ADJUSTMENT

Install the A/C compressor clutch assembly, and then use a feeler gauge to measure the air gap. If it is out of the standard value, adjust it with shim(s).

Standard value: 0.3 - 0.55 mm
