Air refresher ionizer
switch
|
Informs the heater
controller assembly (A/C-ECU) whether the switch
is on or off. When it is on, the indicator on the switch
illuminates.

Heater controller
assembly (A/C-ECU)
|
Sends the ion
generator operation request signal to the ion generator
when the following conditions are met.
- Air refresher ionizer switch is on (indicator turns
on).
- Blower speed is other than OFF.

Ion
generator
|
Generates the ion
when the ion generator operation request signal
is sent from the heater controller assembly (A/C-ECU).
During the operation, it sends the ion
generator operation signal to the heater controller assembly
(A/C-ECU).

the ion generator is discharged through the duct.
