INSPECTION PROCEDURE 7: The A/C compressor and clutch assembly does not work


COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
If the power is not supplied to the A/C compressor and clutch assembly, the A/C compressor and clutch assembly circuits may be defective.

PROBABLE CAUSES

  • Malfunction of the A/C compressor and clutch assembly
  • Malfunction of the dual pressure switch
  • Malfunction of the fin thermo sensor
  • Malfunction of the temperature controller
  • Malfunction of the A/C compressor relay
  • Malfunction of the Engine-ECU
  • Damaged harness wires or connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1.Check A/C compressor assembly (Refer to ).
2.Check the M.U.T.-III diagnosis code for engine-ECU. (Refer to GROUP 13A - Inspection Chart for Diagnosis Code ).
3.Follow the trouble symptom procedures below (Refer to GROUP 13A - Inspection Procedure 23: A/C Compressor Relay System ).
