INSPECTION PROCEDURE 9: The A/C compressor and clutch assembly does not work


COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
If the power is not supplied to the A/C compressor and clutch assembly, the A/C compressor and clutch assembly circuits may be defective.

PROBABLE CAUSES

  • Malfunction of A/C compressor and clutch assembly
  • Malfunction of A/C compressor relay
  • Malfunction of Engine-ECU
  • Malfunction of the dual pressure switch
  • Malfunction of the heater controller assembly (A/C-ECU)
  • Malfunction of the fin thermo sensor
  • Damaged harness wires and connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1.Check A/C compressor assembly (Refer to GROUP 55A - Compressor Assembly inspection ).
2.Check the M.U.T.-III diagnosis code for engine-ECU (Refer to GROUP 13B - Inspection Chart for Diagnosis Code <6B3> or GROUP 13C - Inspection Chart for Diagnosis Code <4N1>).
3.Follow the trouble symptom procedures below.
