If the shift lever cannot be moved
from the "P" position due to discharged battery or
similar reasons, release the shift lock by observing the
procedure below.

1.Turn the ignition switch
to the position other than the "LOCK" (OFF) position
<except
vehicles with Keyless Operation System (KOS)> or put the
power supply mode is OFF <vehicles
with Keyless Operation System (KOS)>.

2.Insert a screwdriver or a
similar tool in the shift lock release hole. Shift the
selector
lever to the position while pressing the screwdriver or a
similar tool down.
