INSPECTION




1. CHECK RR PLANETARY RING GEAR FLANGE SUB-ASSEMBLY, BIMETAL FORMED BUSH


caution Measure the inside diameter at different places and take an average. If the measurement is greater than the maximum, replace the RR planetary ring gear flange sub-assembly with a new one.
When the RR planetary ring gear flange sub-assembly is replaced, inspect the contact surface opposed to the RR planetary gear assembly. If the surface is scratched or discoloured, replace the RR planetary gear assembly with a new one.

Using a dial indicator, measure the inside diameter of the RR planetary ring gear assembly, bimetal formed bush.
Standard value:
Φ32.176 - 32.201 mm

2. CHECK FR PLANETARY GEAR ASSEMBLY BUSH


caution Measure the inside diameter at different places and take an average. If the measurement is greater than the maximum, replace the FR planetary gear assembly with a new one.
When the FR planetary gear assembly is replaced, inspect the contact surface opposed to the reverse clutch hub sub-assembly. If the surface is scratched or discoloured, replace the reverse clutch hub sub-assembly with a new one.

Using a dial indicator, measure the inside diameter of the FR planetary ring gear assembly bush.
Standard value:
Φ57.405 - 57.430 mm

3. CHECK RR PLANETARY GEAR ASSEMBLY BUSH


caution Measure the inside diameter at different places and take an average. If the measurement is greater than the maximum, replace the RR planetary gear assembly with a new one.
When the RR planetary gear assembly is replaced, inspect the contact surface opposed to the intermediate shaft. If the surface is scratched or discoloured, replace the intermediate shaft with a new one.

Using a dial indicator, measure the inside diameter of the RR planetary gear assembly bush.
Standard value:
Φ20.000 - 20.025 mm
