GENERAL INFORMATION
For engine and transmission mounts,
gravity-centre support engine type has been adopted as follows: 3-point
support type (two places at the engine and one place at the
transmission) for 2WD and 4WD - A/T vehicles, and 4-point support type
(two places at the engine, one place at the transmission and one place
at the transfer) for 4WD - M/T vehicles.
- The clearance of the stopper for front engine support insulator
has been enlarged to improve vibration at the vehicle
start-up.
- Cup-type stopper cover made of heat-resistant material has been
adopted to abolish the heat protector for light
weighting.
- Low-speed action spring material has been adopted for front
engine support insulator and rear engine support insulator to
reduce vibration transmission ratio of the power plant.
