REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <2WD (High rider), 4WD>

  • *: Indicates parts which should be temporarily tightened, and then fully tightened with the vehicle on the earth in an unladen condition.
  • When the suspension is adjusted or replaced, the calibration of steering wheel sensor must be performed. (Refer to GROUP 35C - On-vehicle Service ). <Vehicles with ASTC>

Pre-removal Operation
  • Stabilizer bar (with stabilizer link assembly) removal (Refer to ).
  • Knuckle removal (Refer to GROUP 26 - Front Axle Assembly ).

Post-installation Operation
  • Knuckle installation (Refer to GROUP 26 - Front Axle Assembly ).
  • Stabilizer bar (with stabilizer link assembly) installation (Refer to ).
  • Check the Dust Cover for Cracks or Damage by pushing it with finger.
  • Front Wheel Alignment Check and Adjustment (Refer to ).

After making a mating mark on the adjusting bolt, remove the lower arm mounting bolt.
