OUTLINE OF CHANGES

• Due to the adoption of the column switch assembly with built-in steering wheel sensor, following items have been changed.
  


1. Terminal voltage check procedures for the steering wheel sensor have been changed.
   
2. Reference for removing and installing the steering wheel sensor has been changed.
   
• Active Stability & Traction Control system (ASTC) without Hill Start Assist (HSA), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) and Emergency Stop signal System (ESS) functions has been adopted. The following items are the differences between this ASTC and the conventional ASTC which has already been adopted to vehicles for general export. <Vehicles for GCC>
  


1. This ASTC system does not set the diagnosis trouble code (DTC) Nos. C1294, C1295, U0402, U1101 and U1118 in the following inspections.
   


1. "Illumination condition of warning lamp and indicator lamp in case of failure" in FAIL-SAFE FUNCTIONS
   
2. "Under EBD, ABS, stability control, TCL, brake assist, HSA, TSA, BA, ESS in case of failure" in FAIL-SAFE FUNCTIONS
   
3. DIAGNOSIS CODE CHART
   
2. Due to the addition of vehicles with ASTC and 4G6 or 4D5 engine, the diagnosis code procedures for DTC Nos. C1291, C1396, U0401, U1100, U1211 and U1406 have been changed. Also, the symptom procedure for Inspection Procedure 11 has been changed.
   
3. Since this ASTC system does not use information related to transfer, data list item Nos. 26, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 are not supported.
