Pre-removal Operation
  • Power steering fluid draining (Refer to ).
  • Battery tray stay removal (Refer to GROUP 54 - Battery ).
  • Engine room under cover removal (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ). <2WD>
  • Under skid plate and engine room under cover removal (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ). <4WD>
  • Air intake duct assembly and air intake hose removal (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner ).
  • Alternator and others belt removal (Refer to GROUP 11A - Crankshaft Pulley ).

Post-installation Operation
  • Alternator and others belt installation (Refer to GROUP 11A - Crankshaft Pulley ).
  • Drive belt tension check and adjustment (Refer to GROUP 11A - On-vehicle Service - Drive belt tension check and adjustment ).
  • Air intake duct assembly and air intake hose installation (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner )
  • Engine room under cover installation (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ) <2WD>
  • Under skid plate and engine room under cover installation (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ) <4WD>
  • Battery tray stay installation (Refer to GROUP 54 - Battery ).

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS



>>A<< POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE HOSE ASSEMBLY CONNECTION INSTALLATION


1.Install so that the mating marks are facing rearward.

2.Place the pressure hose stopper to touch the power steering oil pump stopper, and install the pressure hose assembly.

1.Install the suction hose so that the marking is positioned upward.
