REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION


caution Before removing the front seat assembly, refer to GROUP 52B - Service Precautions and Side- airbag Module (s) <Vehicles with side- airbag module>.

note For removal and installation of the heated seat switch, refer to Instrument Centre Panel .

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

<<A>> REAR ANCHOR COVER REMOVAL
Disengage the lower tab of the rear anchor cover, and slide the cover rearwards to remove.

<<B>> WIRING HARNESS CONNECTORS DISCONNECTION


Disconnect the following wiring harness connectors:

  • A: Side-airbag module (squib) connector <Vehicle with side-airbag>
  • B: Heated seat connector <Vehicle with heated seat>
  • C: Front seat belt switch connector
  • D: Power seat assembly connector <Vehicle with power seat>

note When disconnecting the side-airbag module connectors, unlock the connector by sliding the locking button to the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure, and then disconnect the connector.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

>>A<< FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

1.Confirm that both the seat slides are locked, and then temporarily tighten all the bolts and nuts shown in the figure so that no load is applied to the front seat cushion.
2.Tighten all the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 43 ± 8 N·m (Bolts)
Tightening torque: 30 ± 5 N·m (Nuts)
