REASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

1.Install the coil to the A/C compressor.

2.Use snap ring pliers to install the snap ring.

3.Use the lower arm bushing remover and installer (MB990828) and a hammer to press in the rotor.
note Insert the rotor in a direction perpendicular to the A/C compressor.

4.Insert a flat-tipped screwdriver between the projections on the armature to counterhold it. Then install the mounting bolts to install the armature.
Tightening torque: 18 ± 1 N·m

5.Apply silicon rubber to the temperature sensing portion on the refrigerant temperature switch. <4G6>
Specified sealants:
Silicon rubber: KE347
Specified value: 0.04 ± 0.01 g

6.Install the refrigerant temperature switch, and then install the refrigerant temperature switch mounting bracket <4G6>.
Tightening torque: 2.0 ± 0.4 N·m

7.Install the bracket.
Tightening torque: 2.0 ± 0.4 N·m

8.Install the A/C compressor clutch assembly, and then use a feeler gauge to measure the air gap. If it is out of the standard value, adjust it with shim(s).

    Standard value: 0.3 - 0.6 mm
