INSPECTION PROCEDURE 8: The A/C compressor and clutch assembly does not work


COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
If the power is not supplied to the A/C compressor and clutch assembly, the A/C compressor and clutch assembly circuits may be defective.

PROBABLE CAUSES

  • Malfunction of A/C compressor assembly
  • Malfunction of refrigerant temperature switch <4G6>
  • Malfunction of A/C compressor relay
  • Malfunction of Engine-ECU
  • Damaged harness wires and connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1.Check A/C compressor assembly (Refer to GROUP 55A - Compressor assembly inspection ).
2.Check refrigerant temperature switch. (Refer to GROUP 55A - Compressor assembly inspection (Disassembly and re assembly ) <4G6>.
3.Follow the trouble symptom procedures below:
