REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION


Pre-removal and post-installation operation
  • Back door upper trim, back door upper trim side and back door centre trim removal and installation (Refer to GROUP 52A - Back Door Trim .)
  • Rear wiper motor assembly removal and installation (Refer to GROUP 51 - Rear Wiper and Washer .)
  • High-mounted stop lamp assembly removal and installation (Refer to GROUP 54A - High-mounted Stop Lamp .)
  • Spare tyre Removal and Installation

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> BACK DOOR WINDOW GLASS REMOVAL
Remove the back door window glass by the same procedure as for the windshield (Refer to ).
note Use a piano wire to remove the back door window glass.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< WINDOW DAM/GLASS STOPER/FASTENER INSTALLATION
1.
caution Before the next operation, leave the decreased parts for 3 minutes or more to dry. Do not touch the degreased parts.
Use white gasoline to degrease the inside circumference of the back door window glass and the back door flanges.
2.

Install the window dam, glass stopper, and fastener to the specified position.

3.Install the fasteners to the specified positions on the back door flange.

>>B<< BACK DOOR WINDOW GLASS ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
1.Apply the primer and adhesive.
2.Install the back door window glass by the same procedure as for the windshield (Refer to ).
