Inspection Procedure 4: The Headlamp Automatic Levelling Warning
Lamp does not Illuminate.
caution |
Whenever the ECU is replaced, ensure that
the power supply circuit, the earth circuit and the
communication circuit are normal.
|
OPERATION
If the height sensor or the headlamp levelling
unit is defective, the headlamp automatic levelling warning lamp
illuminates.
COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
If the headlamp automatic
levelling warning lamp does not illuminate under the illumination
conditions, the warning lamp power supply system may be defective, or
the combination meter, the headlamp automatic levelling-ECU, or wiring
harness and connectors between the two may be defective.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the headlamp automatic levelling-ECU
- Malfunction of the combination meter
- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
